While being a Tour Director, Kathy Griffiths had the opportunity to apprentice in Reno Nevada with the Nelson family of glassblowers. She has gone on to study with USA leading teachers, and the Masters in Italy twice. Kathy’s work has been shown and is in galleries , many fine shows and taken all over the world. She created Gene Simmons in his Kiss outfit which he proudly displays in his office and the Designer Guys have her work. Kathy has taught at many venues including Red Deer collage . Kathy is current fused glass and stained glass. All requiring different skill sets and workspaces. Nature inspires her and as a seasonal Tour director she goes coast to Coast in Canada, so her work is always evolving and unique. Her two passions are always heartfelt and shows her floral background in Colour, balance and design elements. Passion meets creativity!
